Mia was back at it with another Live Nation event—Hot in the Wok, a high-energy night co-hosted by ONESTOWATCH, Live Nation, and SoundCloud.
The show featured Yoshi T, Kalzi, and Lumia, each bringing their own flavor to the lineup. Lumia set the tone early, and Yoshi had the crowd buzzing—especially when he brought up his friend Fig to perform their track Opposite Day. Kalzi closed it out strong with South Asian beats woven throughout his set.
As always, the best part (outside of the music)? Meeting new faces. We connected with Michael and Perry from Wild Mannered, who are building something special with their soju brand. Instant bond over shared hustle, shared vision—and shared Citibike delivery hustle.
Mia, the lone non-alcoholic drink on the menu, stood its ground alongside Wild Mannered soju and Màkku. And once again, we got to witness our favorite moment: people trying Mia for the first time.
“Wait—this is actually really refreshing.”
“It’s not too sweet!”
“This tastes like childhood.”
Those off-the-cuff reactions? They mean everything.
We created Mia to reconnect with the flavor we love—and to introduce it to people who’ve never had sugarcane juice before. We’re here for both.
Huge thanks to Leanna Truong, Olivia Le, and Michael Chua for bringing us into this vibrant community.
Onward.
